BUDGENT HOTEL WITH GREAT LOCATION - By Ahallen -UK
Reviewed yesterday NEW The Sanouva is situated in District 1 so is really well situated for sight seeing in Saigon with attractions such as War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Ben Tranh Market and Notre Dame Cathedral etc. being a short walk away. It is on a busy street but we weren't disturbed by the noise. There is a funeral place a few days away which can be a little bit noisy.
Our room was on the 9th floor. It was fairly small but well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was also well equipped. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel.
Breakfast was served on the ground floor and was buffet style. There was a good range of options available to suit western and Asian tastes. Made to order omelettes were also available and these were really good. The hotel also has a restaurant which has a good variety of food available. We had a meal there whilst we were waiting to go to the airport which was good.
All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Information was available about tours that could be arranged via the hotel.
Room Tip: Request a room at the back of the hotel if you're a light sleeper
